Online payment is processed by HSBC totally securely through their encrypted servers
When you submit your card details to them, the payment is verified and authorised. However, payment is not processed until the day of despatch. We do not see or hold any of your card details. For this reason, and in the interest of security, we are unable to accept card payments over the telephone.
