Amtico Flooring adhesives. Made by Amtico for use with 'Stripwood' planks

• Amtico 'Solvent Free' (SFA) Reccomended for Amtico flooring. A high temperature grade solvent free acrylic emulsion adhesive which is designed to give a good tack and high bond strength.

• Amtico SF Adhesive is a water-based adhesive that is suitable for bonding Amtico stripwood in the majority of installations. The only places in which it should not be used are areas of high temperature change, moisture or strong sunlight through glass; see Amtico Universal 2-Part for these areas.

• An open time of around 40 minutes makes the Amtico flooring adhesive extremley eay to use. Open time is the maximum period between spreading the adhesive and laying the Amtico flooring. An adhesive comb with 5mm x 1.5mm notches will ensure a good even spead over a level sub floor. Alternatively an A2 size trowel can be used

• Coverage 3-4 m² per litre using a notched Thermotec adhesive comb (1.5mm x 5.0mm notch)

• A (45kg) 100lb 3-section roller is recommended, and the flooring should be rolled before the adhesive has set. Ideally, the floor should be rolled 1-2 hours (approx) after installation. If a roller is not available, it is possible to shuffle over the floor in order to ensure transfer as much weight as possible over the whole floor area. This will ensure correct transfer of the adhesive.
