Unlike real wood, an Amtico floor is suitable for use in high abrasion areas, or wet and humid rooms.

Once installed, the floor is virtually impossible to distinguish from real wood and can be expected to perform for in excess of 20 years without costly sanding and re-sealing.

Also, an Amtico floor can be close fitted to the perimeters, making it far more hygenic and resistant to moisture ingress. This eliminates the need for replacing skirting boards, or fitting sealants and quadrants etc. An Amtico floor is non-allergenic, and will not harbour dust mites - good news for asthma sufferers. • Amtico is a warm and hygenic with a resiliance which gives good slip resistance. Excellent wear resistance with no sanding or varnishing.

• The Amtico plank size 910mm (length) 2.5mm (thickness) x 76mm or 114mm Water and stain resistant and extremely easy to care for with Amtico maintenance products.

• Easily installed onto either wood or solid sub-floors using Amtico solvent free adheive. With Amtico 2 part universal adhesive, stripwood can be safely installed over underfloor heating or in a conservatory.

• Amtico Stripwood with it's smooth surface finish is protected by the addition of an extremely tough layer of urethane during manufacture. This hard coating helps to reduce scuffing and makes it easier to clean.

• Floor Dressing is not necessary with urethane-coatedfloor unless a higher gloss lustre is preferred. Amtico is resistant to most common stains but there are items which can stain such as lipstick, solvent based liquids and paste floor waxes.

• When kept clean and dry, Amtico floors have excellent slip resistance. However, in common with other smooth floor-coverings, water, other liquids, grease etc on the surface of the floor can make them slippery. Any spillages must be cleaned up immediately.

• Amtico Wood Flooring is resistant to most common stains but there are items which can stain such as lipstick, solvent based liquids and paste floor waxes. Prolonged contact with certain types of rubber or plastic castors, latex rug backing, fresh asphalt, rubber coated cables and rubber matting may leave a mark on the Amtico Floor.
