Within the selection of wood floors, consumer preferences are shifting toward lighter colored woods. Canadian hard maple is regarded as the premium specie among hardwoods. Solid Canadian maple is dense, strong, remarkably hard and extremely durable. Its unique character offers a wide range of uses and a natural lighter color that complements all home furnishings from ultra contemporary to country decor. The quality of this hardwood begins in the northern forests above the 35th parallel where shorter growing seasons and longer winters produce a densely-grained maple with rich, color and fewer imperfections.

• Our solid maple flooring is suitable for use as a structural load bearing floor, or as an overlay onto an existing suitable floor finish.

• Colourful, light and reflective maple flooring that can be used with confidence in residential or commercial installations. Ideal for the home or shops, bars, restaurants etc. Once installed and finished, it will last a lifetime of heavy use.

• We supply in a 'factory' grade which will include some planks showing an attractive darker mineral colour and small sound knots, but without open defects or dead knots.

• Easily installed by secret nailing using a floor nailer into a suitable base. Floor nailers are readily available from most hire shops and are easy and quick to use.

• Once the floor is installed, finishing with a high gloss polyurethane lacquer will show off a maple floor to it's best effect.

• Plank size is 83mm (width) x 19mm (thickness) x random lengths avg 650mm within a 1.86 sq mtr pack
