Cathedral Oak character grade wood flooring. Pre-finished with oil and wire brushed for extra durability.
We import Cathedral oak in huge quantities direct from a Slovakian mill enabling us to offer this high quality flooring at the keenest possible price. Air dried and then kilned to a moisture content of between 8-9% to ensure that seasonal movement is kept to a minimum.
- Manufactured in well seasoned sustainable sorced character grade European oak showing knots, shakes and heavy graining for a truly high quality appearance.
- Wire brushed which takes off the softer wood, resulting in a raised grain, ultra hard scratch resistant surface. This makes Cathedral ideally suited to commercial or heavy wear residential projects.
- Two applications of a natural hard wax oil will ensure a finish that is highly resistant to moisture, wear and staining. Scratches and damage can be quickly and easily repaired leaving an unblemished finish.
- Board size 130mm (width) x 20mm (thickness) x random lengths 0.70 mtrs up to 2.10 mtrs
- Suitable for nailing onto an existing suitable wooden floor,onto joists, battens, chipboard or plywood, and ready to walk on immediately after installation.
- Maintenance of Cathedral is quick and easy. Mopping with a well wrung out mop using natural soap and an easily applied once yearly application of maintenance oil will keep the floor looking like new.
