A solid birch wood floor with a factory applied polyurethane finish for hard wear and easy maintenance. Ideal for use in most rooms in the home where a solid wood floor is required at an economical price point. 90mm width, finger jointed on the length with eased edges and square ends.
The timber used to make Nordstadt is yellow Birch, which is the most common of the species used for flooring. Being natural graded, the boards can vary only slightly in grain and shade. Birch is the name of trees of the genus Betula that is closely related to the Beech and Oak family. Historically, Birch has had many uses in this country. Birch is a medium heavy, medium hard and tough wood among the species. It is medium in form, and stable during moisture variation. Due to the unique combination of hardness and toughness, it is commonly used for furniture, joinery, turned products and flooring.

- Natural grade birch with even warm honey shades and varied grain directions making it an ideal backdrop to any furnishing scheme.
- Nordstadt birch flooring can also be easily and quickly installed over solid sub-floors using 'Envoy' adhesive underlay provided a moisture barrier (pvc layer) has first been laid over the sub-floor.
- As with all pre-sealed wooden flooring, maintenance is easy and straightforward. A daily vacuuming and an occasional wipe using solid birch floor cleaner which is all that is required to keep your new wood flooring looking good.
- Manufactured in well seasoned kiln dried solid birch with a moisture content of approximately 10%.
- The tough UV hardened lacquer means the birch flooring will be hard wearing, non glossy and easy to care for. It also means you can walk on the floor immediately after fitting with no extra treatments or polishing required. The flooring can of course be re-sanded and sealed many many times to prolong it's life.
