A wood parquet tile bordered floor.
Hand made in Slovakia from aged European oak, this floor will give a truly individual effect for little more than the cost of a standard oak plank floor. The parquet tile is constructed with 6mm solid oak wear layer onto 14mm birch ply base layer for ultimate stability.
Easily installed as a floating floor over a thin wood floor underlay. All the component parts are labeled and supplied together with a simple assembly diagram. This means the parquet floor can be quickly be installed at a fraction of the price of conventional stick down parquet.
The parquet tiles are supplied in 1, 3 & 5 tile lengths. This ensures that all joints can be staggered, providing ultimate stability without any vulnerable tile corners.
All we need is a simple plan of your room measurements to supply a bespoke made to measure floor. This consists of the planks of parquet tiles, borders and corners (if required) and the matching perimeter planks.
We supply a C.A.D. drawing showing the layout before we despatch your order. At this stage the layout can be either amended or approved.
The only other items required to install the flooring are PVA adhesive and a suitable wood floor underlay.
