Fitted this in another room last year so I knew what I was getting. However ordering from Birbek was cheaper by a few pounds and delivery was next day and it was free. Really good service.

I really researched all aspects of sound insulating wood floor underlay and cushnwood seems to have the best all round specifications and a 25db decibel rating. It has certainly made a difference in our daughters bedroom. The sound coming through the floor is far less than when we had carpeting. I would highly recommend.

Living in a 2nd floor appartment, I was concerned that the sound of walking over my wood flooring would be heard by my neighbour below. However the cushionwood has worked really well and I am assured by my neighbours there is no transfer of sound.
